    THERMOQUICK 2010 is characterised by very fast shrinkage and has already shrunk when other products are just beginning to heat up.
    THEMOQUICK 2010 offers unique flexibility, a perfectly fitting shape and cannot harm the surrounding materials.

    Application information: 

    Due to its extremely low shrinking temperature (80°C) ,Thermoquick 2010 is outstanding for insulation in temperature sensitive applications such as:
    ELEKTRONICS

    • connections to printed circuits.
    • contacts in multi-line connectors
    • repair of multi-line cables

    AUTOMOTIVE

    • all insulation applications in interior of vehicles - no damage to plastics, carpets or fabric
    • insulation of contacts in plastic parts, i.e. motors for side windows, central locks and wipers; connectors in ignition and injection systems; installation of alarms, telephones, sound systems
    • ideal for cable bundling - it will not damage cables because of its low temperature, fast shrinking and high flexibility

    INDUSTRY

    • due to its fast shrinking, it is ideal when multiple applications are required, such as cable bundling and connections in distribution, joint and fuse boxes

    Elongation at break ASTM D 638: 200%.
    Water absorption ASTM D 570: ≤ 0.15%.
    Specific gravity ASTM D 792: 1.4g/cm³.
    Flammability: none
    Heat shock 4 hours at 175°C ASTM D 2671: no dripping, cracking or flowing.
    Heat aging 168 hours at 150°C ASTM D 638: elongation 100%.
    Low temperature flexibility -30°C ASTM D 2671C: no cracking
    Fungus resistance AMS-DTL-7444: no growth.
    Chemical resistance AMS-DTL-23053/4C: good.
    Copper corrosion ASTM D 2671 B: no corrosion.
    Dielectric strenght ASTM D 2671: 20 kV/mm.
    Volume resistivity ASTM D 257: 1014ohm/cm.
